Even though the light had almost disappeared there was still time for one last shot. Using a slow flash to allow the ambient light to have an effect and then allowing the flash to operate at the end of the exposure gave this pleasing effect. A 1 sec exposure using a Canon s90. Taken on the St. Kilda beach in Dunedin, New Zealand.
